Today is National “Dictionary Day.”  How will define yourself today?

Vocabulary Word of the Day:  tranquil  (adjective) – This word word describes a setting that is calm or peaceful.   Name three tranquil places you would like to visit so you could enjoy their tranquility?

As soon as you finish reading the blog, read the journal located in the journal section entitled, Bulletproof. Get out a clean sheet of notebook paper and answer the questions. Turn in to the box when finished. Don't forget to turn in your  Abecedarian Poem.  Be sure you have saved it as: lastname_firstname_abcedarianpoem. Sentence Practice has returned!! You will receive a sheet that has Sentence Practice #2 & #3. Hang on to this sheet because we are going to use it for 2 weeks. What is a definition poem? A definition poem is our poem this week. The directions are posted under the Poetry section. The Definition Poem is due on Thursday. Then, continue our discussion on Narrative readings and writings.
