It’s November 13.
Today is “World Kindness Day.”  How might you show kindness today
Trivial Fact of the Day:  Pound for pound, wood is stronger than steel.
Interesting Quote of the Day“It takes courage to be creative. Just as soon as you have a new idea, you are a minority of one.”
--E. Paul Torrance  (American Psychologist and Author)
Vocabulary Word of the Day:  tedious (adjective) – use this word to describe a person or event that is boring or dull.  Outside of school, what is the most tedious thing that you have to do?  Could you write about it so that it sounds interesting?

Move to Wednesday!! Today is Guidance with Ms. Wickstrom
Writer's Workshop Day!!! Our journal is about the young girl, Malala. She is the young woman who stood up to the Pakistan government about girls receiving an education. On Channel One, we watched the news story covering the assassination attempt. Today, we are going to write letters to Malala. Then, Memoir writing!! We have read about some famous biographies/autobiographies. Now it's our turn to write about our favorite subject, US.

Don't forget to look on netschool to check if you have turned in all of your assignments. The fussing will start at the end of class TODAY!!!
