It’s December 12.
Today is “Poinsettia Day.”  Some think these flowers are poisonous, but they aren’t.  Their milky sap can cause skin irritation, however.

Trivial Fact of the Day: The average human eye blinks 4,200,000 times a year.  How long can you keep yourself from blinking without  using your hands (or a friend’s) to assist you?
Interesting Quote of the Day:  “The surest test of discipline is its absence.”  --Clara Barton (American humanitarian)
Vocabulary Word of the Day:  flout (verb) – apply this action word to a person who is disregarding or openly disobeying the rules.  How might someone flout the school’s dress code?

Happy 12 - 12 - 12!! How cool is that!!! Okay, calm down the excitement, because you need to read for 20 minutes and I don't want you bouncing off the walls. :0)  Are you ready to Ba-Da-Bing??? We are continuing to create using other cartoons.  THEN, we are going to add 2 Ba-Da-Bing statements to our Memoir.
