Today is “Awkward Moments Day.”  Can you recall a funny or awkward story (truth or fiction) to write about in your notebook?

Trivial Fact of the Day:   A shrimp’s heart is in its head.  Do you think that makes Valentine’s Day awkward for these undersea crustaceans?

Vocabulary Word of the Day:  maladroit (adjective) – speaking of awkward, here is a fancy descriptive word to use as a synonym for someone who—by their actions—is clumsy or bungling.  “The maladroit criminal was easily caught because he ________________.”  Finish that sentence!
