It’s April 17.
Today is “Blah, Blah, Blah Day.”  The creators of this national holiday intended it to be the day to quit making excuses and complete a project that’s been nagging you. Have any of those projects, kids?

Trivial Fact of the Day: Your stomach produces a new layer of mucus every two weeks -- otherwise your stomach would  digest itself.
Interesting Quote of the Day:  It takes half your life before you discover life is a do-it-yourself project.”  -- Napoleon Hill (American author)
Vocabulary Word of the Day:  idolatrous (adjective) – apply this description to an individual who excessively worships one object or person.  Know anyone who is idolatrous?  Can you think of this adjective’s noun, verb and adverb form?

Happy "Back to Normalcy" Day!! Mysteries?? Have they mysteriously been turned in or mysteriously forgotten??? Do you have a book for SSR?? If not, find one! Before SSR, go back to my netschool site. Click on Text Detectives 1: the PDF and Hot Potato quiz. Read and complete. 20 minutes SSR. "Prove the Teacher Wrong" using Tangled Lines you received last week circle the answers that are on the board. 10 are correct 10 are incorrect. Working with your group (same group as mysteries) answer all 20 questions. Prove the wrong ones.
