It’s October 15.
Today is National “Grouch Day.”  What salutation** could you give to show everyone you’re celebrating?

Trivial Fact of the Day:   There is one species of moth that lives entirely on cow tears.
Interesting Quote of the Day:  “Do you think when they asked George Washington for I.D. that he just whipped out a quarter?”  --Steven Wright (American comedian)
**Vocabulary Word of the Day:  salutation (noun) – This is a synonym for the word “greeting.”  What are three different salutations you tend to say when greeting friends?

Happy Tuesday!!!
Today we are going to start with SSR. Let's count up those pages to see how many books you have read.

Block 1 - Are you ready for a test of all the words from Unit 1 - 3??? By Friday you will be ready to show off that knowledge on the test. What incident changed my life? How can we make it even better?
Block 2, 3, & 4 - Root vocabulary too easy?? We will study the roots you receive today for 2 weeks so you will have plenty of time to pratice.  Call It Courage poetry.
