It’s February 4.
Today is “Ice Cream for Breakfast Day.”  Can you invent an ice cream flavor that would be appropriate for breakfast?
Trivial Fact of the Day:  It takes 12 lbs. of milk to make one gallon of ice cream.
Interesting Quote of the Day:  I doubt whether the world holds for anyone a more soul-stirring surprise than the first adventure with ice-cream.”   --Heywood Broun (American journalist)
Vocabulary Word of the Day:  repast (noun) – this fancy synonym can be used in place of the word meal, as in breakfast or dinner.  Since you probably didn’t have ice cream for this morning’s repast, what did you have?

Have a terrific Tuesday Mustangs!!!
Tomorrow we will review for our 4th DFA. There are only 6 questions so every question counts. DFA will be on Thursday.

Pre-AP -We are going to continue our Myth research. Remember:more is better. Use all of the sources you can find. Look back at last week and try those websites that are listed.

OGL - Week 6 Vocabulary!! Hopefully, everyone has completed their notecards so that creating our trees will be a lot easier.  We are going to work on our trees for 20 minutes today and 20 minutes tomorrow. If you are not finished with them by the end of class tomorrow, then they become homework. Roar!! Finish locating poetic devices and finding examples of figurative language.
