It’s September 4.
Today is National “Newspaper Carrier Day.”  How long before this becomes an archaic** holiday?  Anyone ever a paperboy out there?
Trivial Fact of the Day:   Every human being once spent about half an hour as a single cell.
Interesting Quote of the Day:  “Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.”  --Robert Louis Stevenson (Scottish author of Treasure Island)
**Vocabulary Word of the Day:  archaic (adjective) – this word describes something that is very old or old-fashioned. What are three things--besides newspaper carriers--that are going to become archaic in the near future?

I'm back!! Where in the world are we??? Today, will be a day of discovery and set up  our Writer's notebooks.
