It’s February 17.
Today is “Random Acts of Kindness Day.”  What is the most random act of kindness you can think of?

Trivial Fact of the Day:   The month of February is named for the Roman god Februus, the god of purification.  Shakespeare called this month Feverelle.
Interesting Quote of the Day:  Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.” --Princess Diana (British philanthropist**)
**Vocabulary Word of the Day:  philanthropist (noun) – a person who makes every effort to promote human welfare. Do you know of any local  philanthropists in your community?

Stop and look at the rubric. Where are you on the rubric? If it was to be graded on what you have done so far, what would your grade be? Think about these things as you are working today.
