It’s June 1.
Today is “National Dare Day.”  I
double-dog dare you not to celebrate!

Trivial Fact of the Day:   Is there a triple dog?  Polycephaly is the official name for the condition of being born with multiple heads.  Mythology introduced us to Ceberus, the three-headed dog, but there are real instances of cats, pigs, cattle, and snakes born with more than one head.
Interesting Quote of the Day: “Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly.” –Robert Kennedy (American politician)
Vocabulary Word of the Day:  remiss (adjective) use this word to describe someone who is negligent or who fails to take care of something.  Complete this sentence: I was remiss last week when I ____________________.
