It’s May 22.
Today is “Buy a Musical Instrument Day.”  What are the advantages of owning an instrument versus renting one?

Trivial Fact of the Day:   Before composing music, Beethoven used to dip his head in cold water.  Why do you suppose he did that?
Interesting Quote of the Day:  “One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.”  --Bob Marley (Jamaican singer/songwriter)
Vocabulary Word of the Day:  consonant (adjective) – when it’s a noun, this word refers to 21 letters in our English alphabet, but as an adjective this word means in harmony.   “The barber shop quartet’s consonant voices rang out” is one way to use the adjective.  Can you think on another showing sentence?

What Would Life Be Without Artist and Musicians? In this article this thought is explored.  What do you think?  We are going to finish our questions from yesterday and take a hot potato quiz over the stories. Continuing with our study of myths and fables we are going to read THE STORY OF CERES AND PROSERPINA. How powerful is love?
