It’s May 29.
Today is “Learn About Composting Day.” Why is composting important? What might we compost** to make our brains more fertile?

Trivial Fact of the Day:   One tablespoon of fertile soil has more organisms in it than there are people on the earth.
Interesting Quote of the Day:  “If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.”  --Marcus Tullius Cicero (Roman philosopher)
**Vocabulary Word of the Day:  compost  (verb) – the act of mixing decaying, organic materials in with dirt in order to improve the soil’s fertility.  Where is the most fertile patch of soil at your house?  In what class/subject do you do your most fertile thinking?
